Road to Vostok Update Expanded Demo With New Content

The demo of the game dubbed as „Finnish STALKER”, Road to Vostok, has received a patch adding a number of interesting new features and improvements to the game. The update is discussed in an extensive video provided by the developer.

In September 2022, the developer from the one-man Road to Vostok Team released on Steam a demo version of Road to Vostok. Fans were thus able to check out the work, also called "Finnish STALKER", and thus help the developer further expand the post-apocalyptic FPS.

Apparently, the cooperation with players has paid off, because the demo received an update introducing not only the required fixes, but also additional content. The patch is discussed in great detail in the video, which you can find below.

  • Expansion of the village areas.
  • Added a system of weapon attachments.
  • Improved weapon recoil.
  • Improved the inventory system.
  • Improved equipment system.
  • Clothing/posture preview added.
  • Weapon holding has been improved.
  • New weapons have been added.
  • New weapon sounds have been added.
  • Ambient/reverberation zones improved.
  • Added ability to swim and fish.
  • Ladders have been added.
  • Added night vision image.

Finally, it is worth mentioning that the release of the second demo of Road to Vostok is expected to take place in the third quarter of this year. After that will come the game's early access.
