A mysterious announcement appeared on the profile of the popular YouTuber group Sidemen, which includes KSI, Miniminter, Zerkaa, Tobjizzle, Behzinga, Vikkstar123 and Wroetoshaw, on X, suggesting their cooperation with Netflix. A short clip, consisting of logos, was signed with the word "soon." The Sidemen only revealed more information a few hours later, or rather a new video that reveals a bit of the mystery.

Netflix released the same teaser on TikTok. As it turns out, it will be a project called The Sidemen Story, which, as it turns out, will be a very personal documentary. Unfortunately, according to the information given by the streaming giant, it's scheduled to be available on the platform only in the United Kingdom. The premiere is set for February 14th.

You can learn a bit more about The Sidemen Story from the FilmFreeway website. The documentary film aims to bring closer the personalities of seven YouTubers who form the Sidemen group. We should find out more about them, the bond that unites them, and what their success signifies for the future of the entertainment industry.

Luke Hyams, the project's director, described his work in the following manner:

Given unprecedented access to the Sidemen and their world for the past year, we have crafted a documentary that gives an insight into who the individual members are as peoples as well as the personal challenges they have faced as a result of their meteoric success. [â?¦] The film also uses the story of the Sidemen as a prism through which to understand the societal & cultural shifts that the advent of open platforms and affordable camera technology have ushered in and what this means for legacyâ??s media ability to retain young audiences moving forward.

It's currently unknown if there are any plans to make this documentary film available in other countries.
