Intriguing Silent Hill: Ascension Coming Later This Month
We have learned the release date of the intriguing Silent Hill: Ascension. The game, described as a „social experiment,” will debut later this month.
Konami has revealed the release date of Silent Hill: Ascension. This intriguingly promising game will be released on October 31. The title will be available on personal computers (in browsers, via the official website), as well as on mobile devices usingAndroid (you can already pre-register for it on Google Play) and iOS systems.
- Silent Hill: Ascension is the fruit of cooperation between several teams: Genvid Entertainment, Bad Robot Games, Behaviour Interactive and dj2 Entertainment.
- The developers will give us a kind of interactive event, in which we will follow the fate of many characters scattered around the world. Hunting them will be terrifying monsters straight out of a nightmare.
- The item is described as a "social experiment". The participants of the project influence the development of the story and shape the game world by making decisions. At the same time, the devs are not sure which way the story will go.
- Silent Hill: Ascension will be divided into many smaller streams, involving a large group of viewers. At the end of each stream, players will have to make a moral choice. The opportunity to vote will be made available for one day after the broadcast of the last part of the story. The direction in which the character's fate will go out will depend on the majority of votes cast for one of the available options.
It is worth noting that Silent Hill: Ascension was announced along with other titles belonging to the famous horror brand. We are talking about Silent Hill: The Short Message, Silent Hill: Townfall, Silent Hill F, as well as Silent Hill 2, which the Bloober Team is working on.
