Silent Hill Returns; 3 New Games Announced
Three new Silent Hill games - Townfall, Ascension and F - were announced at Konami show. At this point, however, we don't know too many details.
During Konami's show, three new installments of Silent Hill were presented - Townfall, Ascension and F. Various development studios are working on the games. At this point we do not know any details about the games.
- Silent Hill: Townfall is the responsibility of Scottish studio NoCode, which can boast the horror game Stories Untold and the adventure game Observation. The publisher, in turn, is Annapurna Interactive. In this case, we only got a teaser, in which we hear a radio announcement. It is possible that this will be an FPP game.
- Silent Hill: Ascension is expected to be a real-time narrative, with groups of players working together to make decisions and progress the story.. The following studios are working together on the project: Genvid Entertainment, Bad Robot Games, Behaviour Interactive (Dead by Daylight) and dj2 Entertainment. It will be released in July 2023.
- Silent Hill F is a game developed by Neobards Entertainment - previously responsible for the asymmetrical online game Resident Evil Resistance and the upcoming multiplayer mode Resident Evil Re:Verse. The title is distinguished by unusually colorful visuals for the series. Still, it looks extremely intriguing. The action will be set in Japan in the 1960s. The game's producer is Motoi Okamoto, who previously worked for Nintendo on, among other projects, Luigi's Mansion and Pikmin 1+2. In turn, Ryukishi07, author of visual novels Higurashi and Umineko, is responsible for the script.
