Silent Hill Fans Got Skateboards Instead of a New Game

Konami has no mercy for Silent Hill fans. Players want a new installment of the series, and the publisher offers them skateboards.

A few days ago, Konami started to tease new gadgets related to Silent Hill. We're pretty sure, however, no one expected them to be skateboards. Two color variants are being prepared, both decorated with graphics of a monstrous nurse from the second installment.

Pre-orders will launch on June 23. The skateboards will only be available for purchase on Konami's official store. No prices have been revealed yet.

These products are not something that fans of the franchise are longing for, but they have some reasons for optimism. In announcing the skateboards the publisher announced that they are meant to "celebrate...:". The sentence was left unfinished, but players are looking for a hint that Konami is getting ready to announce the next game installment. It is also supported by the fact that the company quite often reminds about this brand for some time now.

These are not just idle hopes. Rumors about new installments of the series appear quite regularly lately. Speculations suggest that there may be several titles from the brand in production. One of them is to be created by a Japanese developer, and the other may be created by Bloober Team.

Unfortunately, we'll probably have to wait a long time for the details. A few days ago, the hopes of fans were raised by the team t Blue Box Games. announcing the disclosure of gameplay from the horror game Abandoned. Some players began to suspect that this is in fact a new Silent Hill and Hideo Kojima is working on the project. However, the devs dismissed these rumors.
