SnowRunner Coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X in May; 4K, More Frames and Free Update
We know when SnowRunner will hit 9th-gen consoles. We'll be taking our trucks into the field in May.
- SnowRunner will hit 9th-gen consoles on May 31;
- The game will receive 4K resolution support and 60 fps;
- Owners of the game will be able to upgrade the title to the new version for free.
Focus Entertainment has shared the release date for SnowRunner on 9th-gen consoles. PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X owners will receive the enhanced version of Saber Interactive's game on May 31.
The release on new hardware will of course be associated with improvements that will make the gameplay even more enjoyable.
4K and more frames
Off-road fans will be able to enjoy an even clearer view of snow and mud. This is because the version of the game on current-gen consoles will support 4K resolution.
Gameplay will also turn out to be more comfortable than on older hardware. SnowRunner on PS5 and Xbox Series S/X will boast smooth gameplay at 60 frames per second.
It's also worth mentioning that all existing PS4 and Xbox One owners will receive a free update to the version created for the aforementioned consoles.
