In May 2023, the last community vote was organized so far, in which The Sims 4 players could decide on the themes of two future Kits. One of them appeared prematurely on the internet, which was quickly noticed by the community.

DLC containing new building catalog elements, selected in the survey, could be found on the EA App store for a moment (despite the lack of an official announcement from the creators) - along with the name, full description, graphics, and release date.

The Castle Estate Kit will most likely be released on January 18. Interestingly, due to a website error, some users have already managed to place orders.

When the creators of The Sims 4 presented us with their ideas for potential Kits, our selection could only be guided by sketches of individual buildings and a general summary of the theme. However, we learned about additional details from the leak.

Capture the classic grandeur of a castle with The Sims 4 Castle Estate Kit. This kit, chosen by the community, includes stone walls, lead glass windows, and everything you need to create the perfect, dramatic backdrop for your next story.

Create something great - be inspired by the majesty of castles and build using Gothic arches, ornate windows, grand stairs, magnificent stone facade and a large defensive gate. Everything here is supposed to be grand.

Come to love the classics - window sills, stained glass, embassures, and even gargoyles are just some of the classic details that will make your residence magnificent.

The description and accompanying image indicate that Maxis put a lot of effort into accurately reflecting the historical character of their inspiration, making it accessible and fitting to the game's atmosphere.

However, let's not forget that with the choice of the medieval DLC, a set of alternative clothes and accessories was also selected in parallel. For some time now, Maxis has adopted a policy of double premieres for Kits - usually on the same day we have the opportunity to purchase two of them, representing two categories of gameplay. So far, however, the content of the second one has not been leaked.
