Star Wars: Battlefront II trailer leaked

Star Wars: Battlefront II trailer is already available online, a couple of days before the intended official reveal. Electronic Arts, you have to do better than this to keep the game secret.

A couple of days before its official reveal – which is scheduled to take place at Star Wars Celebration on April 15 – the first teaser trailer from Star Wars: Battlefront II has leaked online. The video lasts only 30 seconds, but it reveals a lot about the game’s content. You can find it below, embedded from YouTube, as well as in a couple of other places, including Vimeo.

Unlike the 2015’s reboot of this popular Star Wars-based first-person shooter, the sequel is going to feature a full-fledged campaign, telling “the untold soldier’s story”. The first seconds of the trailer show off a female stormtrooper with her squad trapped on Endor right after the destruction of the second Death Star. This suggests that we’ll get to follow a brand new Star Wars story set between Episodes Six and Seven and presented – at least partially – from the perspective of Imperial soldiers.

Another interesting thing in the trailer is the presence of characters from The Force Awakens, such as Rey and Kylo Ren, but also Yoda and Darth Maul. Besides, we get to see shots from Starkiller Base, Hoth and a couple of other locations known from the films, as the video promises multiplayer battles fought across all eras. Those who pre-order Star Wars: Battlefront II will also get characters from the upcoming film Star Wars: The Last Jedi.
