Starfield Will Make Players 'Lose Their Minds,' Says Art Director

Starfield developers are „so close” to finishing their new project. Bethesda Game Studios' art director believes the company's first new brand in nearly 20 years will make the players 'lose their minds.'.

Bethesda still isn't revealing too many details about Starfield. However, this does not stop the creators from praising the studio's new game. For example one developer believes that "players will lose their minds" when they finally see this title.

Emil Pagliarulo, Bethesda's art director and lead designer and writer of Starfield is the subject of a recent interview posted on the company's official website. Apart from talking about his own past and experiences, the creator also briefly mentioned the team's latest project.

Pagliarulo briefly mentioned the development process of the game: from the beginning, when everything was "in disarray", and later, when the various systems of Starfield finally began to "fit together" and the vision for the project began to take shape. It was then that the designer was to say to himself, "this is something really special. Players are going to lose their minds."

Of course, this is still not the end of the work for the developers, who are "so close" to finishing the game. Fortunately, they still have plenty of time. Starfield will debut on November 11 on PC and Xbox Series X/S consoles.

Pagliarulo also mentioned how the developers are approaching the work on this title so that it really delights the players. Bethesda definitely wants that - after all, it's the company's first new IP in nearly two decades.

You know, our unofficial studio motto is, “Great games are played, not made.” And that means experiencing Starfield the way a player would, at every stage of development. We’re brutally honest with ourselves about what is and isn’t fun, what does and doesn’t work – and doing what we need to do so players get the experience they expect and deserve.
