The upcoming action RPG Stellar Blade has been rated by the ESRB. The Americans also categorize the title as a game for mature audiences. We also learned about the graphics modes.
Stellar Blade is one of the more promising games planned for this year. Since the trailer was presented at State of Play, the creators have been sharing new information - for example, the "values" of the main character are important to them.
This element, among others, caused another organization, this time ESRB (Entertainment Software Rating Board), to rate Stellar Blade as a game intended for mature players. They have rated the game M, which means that it is intended for people 17 and older.
ESRB reports that the work by Shift Up studio contains drastic scenes full of blood, vulgar language (according to the organization, the word "shit" does appear in the game), as well as "suggestive themes." The last of these things, of course, concerns the female characters in Stellar Blade, including the protagonist Eve, who looks attractive in clothes that reveal and emphasize specific parts of the body (e.g. breasts).
Interestingly, the title does not contain "interactive elements" that are interpreted as microtransactions. Let us remind you that Stellar Blade was rated "18+" in South Korea.
In addition, the creators of the production gave an interview to the Play3 website, in which, among others: announced that the game will use the capabilities of the DualSense controller, and revealed the graphic modes that will be available on the PS5 console. The added vehicles are as follows:
Stellar Blade will be released on April 26 on PS5. In the future, the game will be available on PC.
