The release of the cyberpunk adventure game Stray is just around the corner. On this occasion, players can take part in a campaign to support real-life stray cats and, in the process, win codes for the upcoming game.
Stray is undoubtedly among the most anticipated game of the year. This adventure indie game set in a cyberpunk world has won the hearts of fans not so much by its visuals or gameplay system, but by its... cat. For this sweet cuddly cat is the main protagonist of Blue Twelve's game.
Noble action
As the title deals with the adventures of the aforementioned feline, the publisher of the game - Annapurna Interactive - as part of a pre-release promotional campaign for Stray began working with several charities to help raise money for real-life stray cats.
In the case of the Nebraska Humane Society, by contributing a symbolic $5 all interested parties will participate in a raffle to win game keys. In turn, the proceeds from the campaign will be invested in medical care, feeding and finding homes for stray animals.
Interestingly, the charity action is not closed only within the borders of the United States. Residents of the UK can also take part in a similar noble endeavor (more details can be found in a post published on Twitter).

It is also worth saying that the above attractions are not the only ones prepared by Annapurna Interactive. In addition, a special cat backpack will soon go on sale, signed with the logo of Stray. The product is equipped with a window through which the cat will be able to admire the world during the trip. However, the pleasure is priced at a staggering 139.99 dollars. Stray will be released on July 19 on PS4, PS5 and PC.. The game will be made available to PlayStation Extra and Premium subscribers at launch. It is also worth mentioning that if you decide to buy the game in pre-order on Steam until July 19, you will get it 10% cheaper.
