Gamers Picked Their Favorite PS5 Games; No Surprizes

PlayStation 5 owners have selected their favorite gamesfor Sony's current-gen console. We know the winners in each category.

As part of the Players' Choice: Best of PS5 survey, Sony asked gamers to select - in their opinion - the best titles available for the PlayStation 5. Owners of the console cast their votes in several categories. Among others, they chose the best PS5 game.

God of War: Ragnarok triumphs

As we learn from the PlayStation blog, God of War: Ragnarok is the favorite game of PS5 owners so far. Sony's exclusive overtook a big competitor in the vote - the winner of The Game Awards 2022 - Elden Ring. Honorable mentions also went to Horizon Forbidden West and Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut.

God of War: Ragnarok not only won the title of best PS5 game, but was also recognized as the gamewith the best graphics on the console. Second and third place went to Horizon Forbidden West and The Last of Us Part I.

Players' Choice: Best of PS5 - full list of winners

  • Best PS5 game - God of War: Ragnarok
  • Best graphics on PS5 - God of War: Ragnarok
  • Best indie game on PS5 - Stray
  • Best use of DualSense controller - Astro's Playroom

It must be admitted that the list of winners is not particularly surprising - all the selected games undoubtedly deserved awards. At the same time, it is worth remembering that the future will probably bring us more - hopefully - phenomenal titles for PlayStation 5, which will perhaps dethrone the current leaders.

An introvert by nature. Since childhood, he felt a closer connection to humanism than to the sciences. Instead of exercises in maths, he preferred shutting himself up in his world and inventing new stories of his favorite anime – Dragon Ball. After years of study came a time of stagnation, which he preferred to call "searching for purpose." Looking out for destiny during the 58th screening of his beloved Die Hard, he decided – like John McCLane – to fight for a better future. He found the avenue to do this in Gamepressure. Since he's still a freshman in the newsroom, he doesn't have a target subject he wants to focus on yet. So, you can expect news about farming simulators, or the impact of Johnny Depp's trial on the future of Pirates of the Caribbean. If you ever hear that playing console games and watching movies is futile – remember this story
