Summoners War is available on Android and iOS for 10 years already and got downloaded on more than 50 million devices. With such popularity, the developers decided to port it to PC for a broader audience to enjoy. The start is not the greatest though, as many players experience issues with this title. One of them is locking the production in constant “Checking updates” state. This seems to be a wider problem, as it can also cause the game to crash completely.
The solution of this problem is quite simple and requires changing the region formatting settings to English (US). If changing the region is not enough to fix it for you, try changing the whole operating system display language.
The good thing is that the creators are already aware of this issue and are working on fixing it. This unfortunately doesn’t change the fans’ sentiment towards Summoners War, leaving it with only 37% of positive reviews on Steam (at the time of writing this article).
