Tekken 7 reportedly coming to PC and Xbox One

New rumors emerged on the PC version of Tekken 7. This edition has been reportedly confirmed by Bandai Namco Entertainment at MCM London Comic Con.

According to a report made by an attendee of last weekend’s MCM London Comic Con, a Bandai Namco Entertainment representative confirmed that Tekken 7 is coming to PC and Xbox One in addition to PlayStation 4. The XONE version doesn’t come as a huge surprise, but a PC edition would mark an unprecedented move in the history of the series. The official announcement, along with the reveal of the release date, is believed to be made in a couple of weeks, most probably at E3 2016.

These revelations may not sound very credible, but this is not the first time we hear about the PC version of Tekken 7. Rumors of the PC release of the upcoming installment in one of the most popular fighting game series have been appearing for some time now, first triggered by the appearance of such an edition on Amazon in July 2014. A couple of months later Katsuhiro Harada said in an interview for invent (translated from Korean by Avoiding the Puddle) that Bandai Namco Entertainment are considering a PC version. Besides, Tekken 7 is based on Unreal Engine 4, which potentially makes its porting to PC much easier.
