UPDATE: Demo of Tekken 8 is now available on PlayStation 5. You can find it here.

Early 2024 will see the release of the eighth major installment of the iconic fighting game series Tekken. However, before the latest work of Bandai Namco hits store shelves, we will be able to try it out in the form of a demo version.

The developers have announced that the demo of Tekken 8 will be the first available to PlayStation 5 owners tomorrow (i.e. December 14). A week later, on December 21, the game will be available on PC (via Steam) and Xbox Series X/S consoles..

Of course, the demo will be free of charge and will enable the players to get acquainted with the first chapter of the story mode of Tekken 8 and the versus mode.

Tekken 8 - improved My Replay and Tips system

For those who may not have been following the information on the game, let us remind you that the title will feature My Replay and Tips, which first appeared during Season 2 of Tekken 7. This mode is a response to the standard tutorials, and involves players being able to review replays of their duels and learn tips on what they could have done better.

A new feature in My Replay and Tips is to be the ability to run a 10-second sequence, during which we try out the most optimal fighting technique..

"Just look at the replay, and the computer/console will tell you exactly what you're doing wrong, and then let you practice on the same segment. It's much easier and effortless compared to anything else so far," explained Bandai Namco developer Jun Yasuda (via VG247).

Premiere of Tekken 8 will take place on January 26, 2024.
