Fans of free-to-play will be made happy today. A new free-to-play shooter from the creators of Spec Ops: The Line has just been released.
Even judging by the wishlists on Steam, the game could be expected to be popular and around 7 thousand users are playing it right now.
The Cycle: Frontier will take us to the planet Fortuna III, full of treasures and dangers. After landing on its surface, we'll be able to go in search of hidden riches alone or in teams.
The developers describe The Cycle as a PvPvE game. On our way we will face both AI-controlled opponents and other players who are eager to get rich at someone else's expense.
Keep in mind that finding valuable treasures is only half the battle. To use them, you still have to return to the space station orbiting the planet.
On our way to the evacuation ship we will encounter many dangers, capable of depriving us of all the prey. Gameplay should keep you in suspense from the beginning to the end of the mission.
Returning to the space station is not only an opportunity to secure your loot. In this place you will also receive rewards for completed contracts.
We can use our riches to improve our weapons, buy new equipment or expand the headquarters. Thanks to this we will feel at home after each safe return.
The stay on the station, however, will not last long. On the spot we will receive further orders and then we will jump into the capsule which will take us back to the surface of Fortune III.
