The Elder Scrolls 6 Devs Tease Setting

An entry has appeared in the official account of The Elder Scrolls series, which fuels interest in the future of the franchise. The action of TES 6 may take players to an entirely new area.

Information about The Elder Scrolls VI is few and far between. We still don't know where and when the action of the game will be set or what the plot will focus on. However, Bethesda Softworks does not let us forget about uts work and skillfully keeps the interest in the title alive.

This time, the official Twitter of the series has posted a picture with a map centered around the map of the Skyrim province. Three candles also attract attention: one of them stands in Hammerfell (region known from The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall), the second one next to the town of Solitude, and the third one on a mysterious object resembling a book or a box.

The creators celebrated the New Year with an appropriate comment:

The editors of GameRant quoted a fan theory, according to which the first candle refers to the second installment (the past of the series) and the next one either to TES V or the TES Online expansion titled Greymoor, whose action was set near Solitude (the present). The third candle is to represent the unknown future. It is possible that the latest gane will take us to the continent of Atmora, lying north of Skyrim.

According to some people the trued order of candles is opposite, but this seems less likely. Especially after the leak about the setting of The Elder Scrolls 6 being Hammerfell was denied.
