The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall is the second chapter in The Elder Scrolls series and takes place in the biggest area so far. It is possible to traverse the land which doubles the area of the Great Britain, explore dungeons, castles, and even alternative dimensions. Travelling from one side of the world to the other would take over two weeks of real time. The world is inhabited by 750 thousand characters that can be talked to.

The player may technically do whatever he or she wishes and go wherever he or she wants. It is also possible to join any guild and advance in its rank, thus becoming a respected member of Knight Brotherhood, a spy infiltrating the kingís court, a thief stealing the biggest treasures of the world. The game offers six different endings depending on the way the main quests were performed.

Work on Daggerfall Unity mod is slowly coming to an end. Creator of The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall refreshed on Unity engine released alpha version of the project, adding the last key mechanics from the original game.
