The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos Gets First Teaser

Obsidian Entertainment is heating up the atmosphere before the reveal of the Murder on Eridanos expansion for the space RPG The Outer Worlds. The team has released a short teaser and a mysterious image with a golden ticket.

Studio Obsidian Entertainment released the first teaser for The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos, the second DLC for the popular 2019 RPG.

The video is barely 25 seconds long and it's hard to deduce anything solid from it. It shows the player's ship Unrealiable, landing on the platform of a structure suspended in the clouds. The game's official Twitter account also published an image of a golden ticket, which suggests that one of the sources of inspiration for the expansion is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

Fortunately, we won't have to wait long for details. The Outer Worlds: Murder on Eridanos is to be officially revealed in just a few hours.

The expansion's release should take place shortly after its announcement. Last month, the publisher of The Outer Worlds, Private Division, informed that the second DLC will be released before the end of March.

The Outer Worlds debuted on October 25, 2019 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and in June 2020 the game also came out on Nintendo Switch. The first expansion, Peril on Gorgon, was released last September, but not on Switch, whose users didn't play the expansion until February 2021. We expect the same for Murder on Eridanos and the DLC will hit PC, XONE and PS4 first.
