The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition, an enhanced version of the RPG from Obsidian Entertainment, has much higher system requirements than the 2019 original.
Yesterday, Obsidian Entertainment announced that on March 7, The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition will be released, a revamped version of the 2019 first-person RPG. If you are interested in this upgraded version on PC, then keep in mind that the remaster has much higher system requirements than the original.
Old-new The Outer Worlds on PC is an increase to 12 GB of RAM from4 GB from the minimum requirements, while the recommended ones increased from 8 to 16 GB. You will also need at least a better CPU and GPU card to fire up the refreshed version of the game. You can check the full requirements of the upgrade below. If you want to accurately compare them for yourself with the original The Outer Worlds I refer you to to this message.
The Outer Worlds: Spacer's Choice Edition will offer, among other things, better graphics (such as textures and volumetric lighting) compared to the original, as well as additional animations. If one owns the basic version of the game and the two paid expansions (Peril on Gorgon and Murder on Eridanos), the upgrade will be available at a reduced price. Refreshed The Outer Worlds will be available on March 7 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles and PCs.
