We don’t expect to hear much folk music in Cyberpunk 2077.

Marcin Przybylowicz, Music Director for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, is also going to compose soundtrack to Cyberpunk 2077 – CD Projekt RED’s next RPG. We talked to him about this new project, but information about the game itself is scarce. Talking about his new assignment, Przybylowicz told us:

"My superiors already force me to do it, because I spend most of my time with Geralt; however, some first attempts with Cyberpunk were already made."

CD Projekt RED is still busy working on the final big expansion for The Witcher 3, the much anticipated Blood and Wine, which will take the famous monster slayer to a new location, Toussaint, setting him up against a bloody intrigue. Throughout this adventure we will be enjoying a whole new soundtrack created by the original Witcher 3 music team: Polish folk metal band Percival, Mikolai Stroinski (who did not work on the Hearts of Stone expansion), and of course Marcin Przybylowicz.
