Undawn - How to Find Frost Queen Location (Legendary Animal)
Undawn lets you fight Legendary Animals. One of them is Frost Queen which is a huge crocodile. In this article you will learn how to find it.
As people are drawn towards dire, post-apocalyptic worlds, game developers continue to deliver more titles that offer such experience. Looking somewhat like a mix of Fortnite, DayZ, and Left4Dead, Undawn tries to build on their foundation and puts all players together in zombie infested world. Being a free-to-play MMO, it offers quest system similar to other games in the genre. One of the missions requires you to hunt for the Legendary Animal called Frost Queen. Here you will learn how to find it.
How to unlock Legendary Animal: Frost Queen in Undawn
The way to find Frost Queen and complete related quest leads through several other missions, that have to be completed:
- Legendary Animal: Battle of the Sleepy Beasts (Required level: 32)
- Legendary Animal: Raging Bison (Required level: 39)
- Legendary Animal: Frost Queen (Required level: 41)
Be careful, as the quests can malfunction sometimes. It happens that after taking it, there will be no NPC marker in the proper location. If you have encountered this behaviour, log out and close the game. When launching it again, the mission should be back to normal and allow you to progress.
Undawn – Frost Queen location
When you deal with all the required quests and you have reached appropriate level, you are now ready to take on Frost Queen.
- Head to The Western Outpost and speak to Reckless Hunter.
- After that, the game will point you to the nearby NPC – Captain Nero.
- Next, marker will guide you now right outside the outpost where you will find Zombie Remains. Interact with them, use Recon Mode, and simply follow the yellow mark on the ground.
- At the end of the trail, you will find Signs of a Crocodile Hunt. Again, interact with them and use Recon mode to follow another route marked on the ground.
- It will lead you to Crocodile for Skinning. Repeat the same pattern, interact with it, and cross the nearby river to find another point of interest.
- Be on your guard as you will be attacked by crocodiles. Dealing with them will allow you to talk to Injured Hunter nearby.
- When that is finished, use Recon Mode again to follow yellow path once more. At the end of it, you will find Annihilated Wolf Pack.
- Rinse and repeat, enable Recon Mode and follow the next trails to find Crocodile Egg. Interacting with it will trigger a cutscene after which you will be attacked by Frost Queen.
- Fight it and after the battle report back to Reckless Hunter, who can be found in the camp where you initially seen Crocodile for Skinning, to successfully finish the quest.
