Throne and Liberty successfully launched on Steam in terms of activity scores. However, the reception of the game is spoiled by technical problems, but the developers have already started fixing them.
Yesterday saw the official premiere of Throne and Liberty, a Korean free-to-play MMORPG from NCSoft, on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S. We write "official" because people who bought special bonus packages started the fun a few days earlier. Crowds were waiting for this debut, so it's worth taking a look at how it went.
As you can see, the game is very popular. Of course, judging by the poor reviews, if the devs do not make changes quickly, they may lose players rapidly. It is clear that despite the complaints, the players are eager to continue playing - so the game has the potential to retain a large part of the community.
The devs are trying to solve the main problems. First of all, they launched a lot of new servers, including several for Europe, which reduced login difficulties. Initially, the Auction House did not work properly in EU countries and was temporarily disabled, but it did not take long to implement fixes and it is now available again.
The devs promise further improvements and the implementation of changes suggested by the players. In a statement published on Steam, they stated:
"We intend to continue listening to the opinions of players and delve into the data provided by them. This game is for you - and we plan to make it as obvious as possible."
