Urban Empire is a city manager that lets you and your ancestors rule over a city

Urban Empire is a newly announced city manager in which you get to guide a ruling family throughout two centuries of succession. The game will let you do more than simply manage the city - you will have to do all it takes to stay in the office.

Kalypso Media announced Urban Empire, an in-depth city management strategy game developed by Fragment Productions (creators of the Rescue series). What makes this title stand out from the crowd of similar titles is the more personal aspect of being a mayor. The player will lead a prominent family throughout the 200 years of succession at the governor’s seat. There will be four families to choose from, each one with their own strengths and weaknesses and a unique vision for the future of their city.

The city will be constantly changing throughout the two centuries of its development.

Starting in 1820 and all the way to 2020 the player will have to face various problems and react to social and technological innovations. Apart from traditional city management, which includes expanding infracstructure, managing the economy and caring for the general well-being of the citizens, Urban Empire will let use political ploys, such as keeping the city council in your pocket or intimitdating the opposition, while keeping such actions away from the eyes of the community, so that your family stays in the office for as long as possible. Urban Empire is coming out this fall exclusively for PC.
