User Discovery Reveals Relics of Working Trains in Cyberpunk 2077

An entry on Reddit suggests that Cyberpunk 2077 was supposed to include interactive trains for the player's character to use. One of the fans came across an unfinished station building associated with this type of urban transportation.

IN A NUTSHELL:

  1. While exploring the world of Cyberpunk 2077, one of the players found an unfinished station of the city's train system;
  2. The location suggests that the transportation method was supposed to appear in the game, but was cut before the final release.

One of the players active on Reddit discovered evidence that a certain piece of content was completely removed from Cyberpunk 2077. We are talking about trains that we could use to travel around the metropolis, known for example from the memorable E3 2018 trailer. The player managed to reach abandoned and clearly unfinished rooms of one of the would-be stations.

It looks like they planned on having a fully functioning train system but couldn't finish it in time!Eventually, only the fast travel system based on terminals loosely related to the subway appeared in the game. It's a bit disappointing, of course, but cutting this element seems to be a sensible decision - one of those things most players would benefit from at most once, especially considering how pleasant it can be to drive your own car or motorbike in Night City.

It's worth noting that it's certainly not the only big thing cut from CD Projekt RED's game - here we can mention, for example, the possibility of running on walls or hanging on mantis blades, so the character could drop down on theur enemies. There's also a lot of features and quality of life elements that would enable us to appreciate Night City even more, or simply be useful.
