Dark and Darker offers various quests. To complete one of them you will have to find an Old Tomb.
After some legal problems, Dark and Darker is again available on Steam. Many people seized the opportunity and entered this dangerous world. The game evolved since its first test many months ago. Now, it offers quests from merchants. They are of different nature. Some of them force players to explore the map in order to find interesting locations. One of such places is the Old Tomb. Let’s find it out together.
Since introduction of more randomized maps in Season 5, many players had issues with finding Old Tomb in Dark and Darker. However, after the recent update, and introduction of Season 6, it seems that numerous fans report that Old Tomb is even harder to find, with some suspecting that it is not implemented at all. While it is definitely not true, as there are voices of those who have found this location, it looks like some improvements are needed in the map system.
The Old Tomb is one of the locations which can be found in the Crypt. However, remember that not all its variants have this place, as the map is constructed out of tiles, which are mixed together.

If you want to find the quest spot, fans on Reddit have pinpointed its look already. You are searching for a long room with columns. Be prepared that there can be a Skeleton Champion and Wraith in the Old Tomb - two powerful minibosses.
Thanks to fans from Spells and Guns team who have prepared detailed maps, it is easy to find the proper place, if you know what you are looking for.
As you can see, the Old Tomb is a rare location (and a dangerous one, too). It means that if you are unlucky, you will have to spend a lot of time searching for it. Don’t be discouraged by that, though. You will find it eventually.
Another place which is difficult to find is Barracks. However, we have prepared a separate article on this subject. Feel, free to visit it.
