Here's What to Expect From Microsoft's Show in June

The Xbox Games Showcase will take place in June. Phil Spencer hinted at what, besides Starfield, we can expect at Microsoft's upcoming show.

Next month, on June 11 to be exact, there will be an Xbox Games Showcase event. Although Microsoft hasn't revealed the list of games that will be unveiled at that time, based on statements made by Phil Spencer, director of Xbox, it's possible to point out a few titles that we can expect.

New info about Avowed, Fable and Hellblade 2?

Spencer took part in a forty-minute interview, which was published today by Kinda Funny Games. When asked about the upcoming Xbox Games Showcase, he stressed several times that Microsoft wants to be clear and care about transparency in what it will be revealing.

Parris Lilly, a journalist who covered the event, mentioned that there are many Microsoft game about which little is still known that could potentially be unveiled during the June broadcast. He mentioned a few specific titles, namely Avowed, Perfect Dark, Everwild, Fable, State of Decay 3, Contraband and Hellblade II. Phil Spencer replied:

"I'm excited about the show. We're going to announce some things that people haven't seen, and also we will reveal new information about some of the productions you mentioned."

Unfortunately, the head of Xbox did not mention which specifically of the above-mentioned games will be presented. However, it is very likely that they will be Avowed and Senua's Saga: Hellblade II - journalist Andy Robinson claimed recently that these Microsoft games are the closest to completion (leaving out such titles as Starfield, about which a lot is really known) and that they are the ones that could be present at the Xbox Games Showcase.

It's also worth noting that Phil Spencer mentioned that there will be "things that people haven't seen" at the show. Who knows, maybe Microsoft is preparing another surprise along the lines of January's Hi-Fi Rush.

There will be no shortage of Starfield and Forza Motorsport

A sure thing at Microsoft's June show is the eagerly awaited Starfield - the fact that new footage from the game will be revealed was announced back in January, and later confirmed when revealing the game's release date. As the eighth installment of Forza Motorsport is also scheduled for release this year, we can also expect new information (maybe we will finally know the exact debut date?) regarding this gameas well.

Xbox Games Showcase will kick off on June 11 at 7 p.m. CET, and an extended broadcast (with interviews, among other things) will take place on June 13, also at 7 p.m..
