Red Dead Redemption 2: Traveling with gang members - can you, how to?

The main character of Red Dead Redemption 2 is one of the gang members led by Dutch van der Linde. On this page we answer the question whether the game allows you to freely explore the game world in the company of other members from the gang.

The answer to this question is 'no'. Red Dead Redemption 2 does not allow other gang members to be invited to travel together with the player at any time.

This does not mean, that the available missions in the game have to be completed on your own. Other gang members take part in many tasks and depending on the mission you can cooperate with them in different ways, e.g. to silently eliminate opponents in joint attacks or to rely on them during larger shootouts.

If you want to explore the vast world of the game with friends, we recommend waiting for the premiere of the multiplayer Red Dead Online module.
