Returnal: Orange force field - how to destroy?

From this page of the Returnal game guide, you will learn how to destroy the orange force field, which can block access to side rooms or some objects and artifacts.

While exploring any of the six biomes of the planet Atropos, you may come across an orange force field that blocks access to certain rooms or containers. Unfortunately, it cannot be destroyed with a standard melee weapon attack.

The Blade Balancer artifact will be necessary for this purpose, as it will allow Selene to perform a more powerful melee attack. This item can be created in the Fabricator for a certain amount of Obolite or found in random locations on the map.

Once you find the aforementioned artifact, you will be able approach the orange barrier and have Selene perform a regular melee attack to immediately break the obstacle. It is worth noting here that the object will disappear upon the heroine's death, so you are forced to find or create it in each subsequent cycle.
