Stashes
Stashes are special hideouts of stalkers in the Zone. You will come across some of them during regular exploration of the map. Others will be related to side quests, and you will learn their locations from notes or conversations with other stalkers. In stashes, you will often find rare weapons, ammunition, and useful healing items.
Anomalies
Anomalies are dangerous phenomena that defy conventional laws of physics. The alarming sound of the scanner will alert you to their proximity. Some can be temporarily neutralized with a well-aimed nut throw. Be on your guard and tread carefully.
Artifacts
Special collectibles that can be found near an anomaly. They offer various bonuses, which often come at the cost of some debuff.
Strong anomalies
Large and dangerous regions containing a powerful anomaly that affects a large radius. These places are usually associated with tasks or hide various artifacts.
Mutants
On the map you will also find places where you can encounter dangerous mutants. This will allow you to better plan a long journey and avoid such encounters.
Technicians
Technicians are specialists who repair weapons and armor. Visit them regularly, as damaged weapons tend to jam, and damaged armor loses its protective properties.
Guides (Fast travel)
Guides serve as fast travel in STALKER2. By paying them a fee, you will be able to move between the two visited guides. You can find more about fast travel on the page Is there fast travel?.
Traders
Traders buy and sell items. They are marked on the map with a green purse icon. Try to visit stores as often as possible to sell unnecessary baggage. In STALKER 2, it's extremely easy to clutter your inventory with unnecessary items.
Medics
For a fee, medics will heal Skif's wounds and lower his radiation level. You can also buy various healing substances and other products from them.
Private stashes
In safe havens within the Zone, you will find safe boxes, which are private stashes. Use them to reorganize your equipment and store valuable items.
You have access to stored goods via any personal stash.
Main missions
On the map, we have marked important locations related to the main plot of STALKER2. With these tips, you won't miss any details.
