Passageway you can use to reach the main chamber with the Peerless. You must deactivate or destroy it to full cleansen the Lazaret off its influence.
This is the upper level of the Lazaret. You can reach the lower level by completing the conversation or by engaging in battle.

The above map shows The Anechoic Lazaret. You cannot visit this location at the beginning of the game-you have to wait until you unlock The Anechoic Lazaret side quest in the Order of Truth (M8.1). This lets you obtain the Metallic Eye which is required to open the Lazaret. The entrance to the said location is located in the eastern part of Reef of the Fallen World (M2.4).
The Lazaret consists of a small upper level and a vast lower level where you will encounter hostile drones. You can destroy them or (the better way) turn them against one another. The main goal of visiting the Lazaret is to stop Peerless. BEFORE you leave the location, try to examine it and gather extra items since you lose the key after the quest is completed, and thus you won't be able to go back to the Lazaret.
Key places in the Anechoic Lazaret
5. The first chamber. This is where you are right after entering the Lazaret. Depending on your earlier decisions, you will encounter Qorro or Murden here. Going down to the lower level (point 6 on the map) becomes possible after the conversation or the fight.
1,2,3. The Lazaret's Mind. Visit these locations if you want to reprogram the hostile drones. It will make them stop attacking the protagonist, instead, they will turn against each other.
4. Passage to the Peerless. Use this passage once you've dealt with all drones. Peerless can be deactivated or destroyed. The available actions are detailed in the description of the quest connected to this location.
