Torment Tides of Numenera: Meeting the Silver Orphans in Sagus Cliffs

You can talk to the Silver Orphans in the Caravanserai district and acquire valuable artifacts from them.

You will discover mysterious creatures in the Caravanserai, which speak in a strange dialect. You can use Anamnesia/Concentration, in order to learn how to communicate with them. You will find out that the aliens are looking for intelligent machines, which are hidden in the city. If you give them information concerning this topic, you will receive a prize. You can tell the Silver Orphans about:

• The Foremen from the Underbelly - As a reward you will receive 3 XP and a cypher - Thermodynamic Detonation (Deals 15 points of damage to all nearby enemies in its range).
• Ziobe from the Filthy Eye - You will receive 3 XP and the Stillness Cage oddity (worth 210 shins)
• The drones of the Peerless - You will receive 4 XP and the Conduit Rings artifact (You will gain the Energize ability).

In order to be able to tell the Orphans about a certain machine, you must first properly interact with them - via the means of a conversation, or completing a quest.
