After completing the game's main story, that is, finishing all 7 chapters and watching the credits, you can still keep playing Xenoblade Chronicles 3. Finishing the main storyline unlocks additional content, such as two new character classes and new side quests.
Aside from additional content you'll also unlock New Game Plus. Choosing this option lets you start a new playthrough while carrying over following progress:

- accessories,
- collectibles,
- crafted Gems,
