ACNH: Blathers - what does he do? where to find?

If you have played Animal Crossing for several days already, you should be familiar with Blathers. He comes to our island to set up a museum. Blathers takes care of it and accepts more exhibits - he can tell you various information about them.

Where to find him?

You initially have to contact Blathers through Tom Nook. However, once he arrives on the island, he will stay here permanently. You will find him in the museum.

What can he do?

Blathers has extensive knowledge of various fish, insects, and dinosaurs. He's happy to share it (well, maybe not so keen when it comes to insects) when you give him new specimens for the museum collection. And that's it. Besides that, Blathers has no additional role.
