AC Origins: How do I begin the DLC content?

On 13th March the second big DLC for Assassin's Creed Origins, called The Curse of the Pharaohs, has reached the hands of players, offering many new adventures. This time, the creators allow us to begin the game from a new save game with a level 45 character. However, if you are going to play on old characters remember that the new DLC site requires a minimum level of 45. It's worth getting those few levels before starting the new content. The creators have increased the maximum experience level to 55. To start the DLC with a preexisting character you need to talk to a man in one of the cities. You can choose between Memphis, Alexandria or Siwa. The NPC will give you a papyrus, which you'll have to bring to Thebes.

The DLC begins with a cut-scene. Bayek goes ashore. After a short conversation with a friend, he notices strange signs on the ground. Suddenly, Pharaoh's Shadow appears. It has a level 46. Many soldiers attack him. If you attack it, it may disappear at some point, but you won't receive any reward for killing it.

Go to Merti. You need to talk to her. She is waiting for you with other companions. After the conversation, the mission No Honor Amongst Thebes will begin.
