The thing about characters in RPGs is that they are often very well written. And that you can romance them. Avowed is also one of these types of games. But does this game allow you to experience more than just friendship with your companions? You will find out on this page.

Can you romance in Avowed?

Much like in The Outer Worlds - another game from Obsidian Entertainment - in Avowed, unfortunately, you won't be able to form relationships with other characters. This applies to both NPCs and your companions. The developers prefer to focus more on other aspects of our companions in the game. Characters will of course comment on your actions, sometimes agreeing with them and sometimes not, depending on their character traits and morals. You can even develop deep friendships with some of them. Romance, however, is out of the question.


