Armor Rig in Deep Rock Galactic is a special piece of equipment worn by the dwarves under their armor. Basic Armor Rig provides the miners with additional protection in the form of an energy shield that will absorb some of the damage received before reducing the dwarf's health.
Thanks to a few modifications you can make Armor Rig even better! Individual Armor Rig modifications are divided into 4 tiers and unlocked after reaching a specific character level. Below you can find recommended modifications for Armor Rig in Deep Rock Galactic:
- Tier 1 - Improved Generator;
- Tier 2 - Healthy;
- Tier 3 - Hazmat System;
- Tier 4 - Shockwave.
Notice the bar at the bottom of the modification tree - it fills up every time you buy one of the modifications. Every 3 modifications purchased grant Armor Rig +5 health points. You can gain a maximum of +15 health after buying all available modifications.
Modified Armor Rig will provide the dwarf with very good protection - the player will have more health, the energy shield will regenerate much faster when the character doesn't receive additional injuries, and will also increase your poison resistance. Furthermore, when the energy shield is destroyed, the Armor Rig releases a static charge that has a chance to stun nearby opponents.
