. Rebellion Studio really hit the jackpot with the Aliens vs Predator. Capitalizing on the popularity of the FPS genre, everything that we cherished in the second part of the film about the aliens has been transferred to the game. Walking down the dark corridor, clutching an M41A rifle and a motion detector, made you feel like one of the marines in Aliens.
Yes, you could still play as a Xenomorph and Predator, but they were just enjoyable extras that added variety to the main dish - these creatures were simply too strong. However, the fragile soldier who could rely only on his weapon allowed us to feel the danger, and the gameplay was full of atmospheric and terrifying moments - the increasingly faster beeping of the motion detector in an empty corridor or facehuggers attacks.
