Houses and apartments we can buy

Deciding upon a career of a gangster, we don’t break the law just for fun or personal satisfaction – money is usually the reason. Big money. Apart from expensive clothes and fast cars, a sumptuous lifestyle is best summed up by a glamorous apartment. Admittedly, our (anti)hero in the previous Mafia was given a place to stay (and it wasn’t a place to complain about either) but we had nothing to say in the matter – it was all predetermined. Joe’s apartment wasn’t to your liking? Too bad then, although no one was forcing you to sit in it for longer than a few seconds. Our houses and hideouts never got the attention they deserved – let’s hope the developers try a different approach this time around.

Our own elegant household is a perfect place for relaxation, a thug life isn’t a piece of cake!

A place to stay we which can decorate doesn’t seem like much, but seeing how popular a house can be in GTA V or World of Warcraft, the new Mafia might just hit a home run. A game which subject matter revolves around gangster careers and big money is just begging for an inclusion of a housing element. There’s simply no better way to give the players a tangible example of their increasing power and influence. The more freedom we get in customizing houses, the better.
