Our Mafia III wishlist
Years of waiting for the new release in one of the best gangster series are soon to be over. The intensifying rumors regarding the third Mafia seem to have a strong basis – let’s round up our expectations.

Summing up, we would like to see the return of all the things that more or less contributed to the atmosphere of the previous games. First of all – give us more cutscenes! We don’t want the game to turn into an interactive film obviously, but a few dozen more minutes of carefully crafted scenes wouldn’t hurt. Secondly, give us more weapons! The list of firearms was long before, but a few necessary additions were missing. Mafia III is a chance to make up for it, and also to bring back melee weapons. The latter were partially present in the first Mafia, but it the sequel they were scrapped early in the development process. When thinking about the mob world, Thompsons and Colts come to mind, but a knife or a baseball bat needs to be used every once in a while.
Furthermore, our wardrobe and the aforementioned vehicles must increase. An ordinary ride and a shabby get up don’t suit a respected kingpin. At least increasing the color variants of our clothes would be step forward, but we would certainly want much more – like visiting a tailor and having a custom-made suit. When it comes to personalizing our character, an addition of a barber shop wouldn’t hurt either. The customization level doesn’t have to rival the one from GTA V, but having an influence on the looks of our character would certainly be a good thing.
