Value for money

The favorite argument of PC supremacists is the one about hardware, and to make it, you need just four words: 60 fps at 4K – the stuff of dreams, which the console pleb can only dream about in AAAs.

A graphics card can cost more than a whole console.

However, it's convenient to miss the fact that hardware prices have reached such levels in recent years that getting a reasonably future-proof PC is an exorbitant investment. Sure, you can get a decent PC that will cope with all modern games for half the price, but after two years, it will cry "upgrade," requiring compromises in the graphics departament.

Meanwhile, PlayStation 5 – according to analysts – should cost about 500 bucks at launch. So, for the price of an average PC, you get a console that will easily run the newest games in 4K, with decent level of detail. Admittedly, you can probably forget 60 frames-per-second and say "hi" to 30, but when it comes to value for money, PS5 can have any PC for breakfast.
