Top 10 Best Racing Games in 2023

Racing games have had a decent time lately. After recent release of Forza Motorsport, and before Rev to Vertex, we're updating a list of 10 fine racers you can play right now.

Table of Contents

Gran Turismo 7

  1. Year of release: 2022
  2. Developer: Polyphony Digital
  3. Platforms: PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5
  4. Game characteristics: a full-fledged installment of the "real" Gran Turismo, emphasizing a single-player mode

Gran Turismo Sport was just an appetizer. Everyone was looking forward to Gran Turismo 7, the full-fledged installment of the cult series. Arming oneself with patience was definitely worth it. Gran Turismo 7 fulfills practically all expectations of fans and even draws in people who previously not only avoided this series, but also racing simulation games in general. This was made possible in part by gradually transitioning to better cars - the initial ones are excellent for learning the basics and using assistants.

The driving style is just world-class. The improved physics in comparison to GT Sport enables an even better perception of all the unevenness on the track. What is the most important, the DualSense controller with its adaptive triggers is enough for a great time. Naturally, their proper use has been ensured, making the operation of the gas and brakes extremely intuitive. The player's mistakes, not the absence of a steering wheel, are the cause of all failures. Gran Turismo 7 not only provides plenty of enjoyment and excitement but also allows you to explore the history of the automotive industry. You can feel that this is a game developed by true enthusiasts.

Three biggest pros:

  1. still one of the best racing games on PS;
  2. plenty of content on the release day;
  3. marvelous driving model that, after turning off the assists, doesn't forgive any mistakes.
  1. Gran Turismo 7 in our encyclopedia
