The Best Mods to Mount and Blade II: Bannerlord

Mount and Blade wouldn't be such a popular game if it wasn't for the modding scene. Bannerlord goes the same direction, and you can already find some interesting modifications online. Here's an overview of these, plus a sneak-peak of the upcoming ones.

Tools and facilities

The mods for Mount & Blade part two include some interesting tools that expand the capabilities of configuring your own battle, and edit heroes, units and equipment. If you're looking to make the game a little easier, there are also mods that make character progression faster, or provide nearly unlimited arrows, etc.

Developer Console the console for everyone

A basic modification that unlocks the developer console. The available commands allow you to influence virtually every element of Bannerlord. Adding units and gold, controlling mission stages or even destroying all factions the command list is really long.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Download the Developer Console mod.
  2. Unpack the downloaded archive to the Modules folder located in the game's main directory.
  3. Activate the mod in the launcher.
  4. A list of all commands can be found on the mod's page. You can also view them in the console by typing in "help."
  5. The console is enabled by pressing CTRL + ~.

Enhanced Battle Test all faces of war

Enhanced Battle Test is a great tool people who want to experience battles in all possible ways. The mod provides access to multiplayer maps, and the configuration of own battles has been greatly expanded. Units can be set up on a map using a known solution instead of siege machines, a squad will appear at the chosen location. What's more, we can change the side we are fighting on at any moment, and in the event of death, we can become one of the soldiers still on the battlefield.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Download the Enhanced Battle Test mod.
  2. Unpack the downloaded archive to the Modules folder located in the game's main directory.
  3. Activate the mod in the launcher.
  4. Done. Battle testing mode will be available once the game starts if you want to go back to standard mode, you need to deactivate the mod in the launcher.

CIT Editor - instant gold and units

This somewhat mysteriously named mod is actually an editor of characters, equipment and units. The CIT Editor introduces a simple menu with many options filling the inventory with the best weapons or adding any soldier to the army. Unique NPCs can also be modified by changing their skills, attributes or level of health.

INSTALL INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Download the CIT Editor mod.
  2. Unpack the downloaded archive to the Modules folder located in the game's main directory.
  3. Activate the mod in the launcher.
  4. You can launch the mod menu by pressing CTRL, ALT + E.

Attribute Per Level quicker development

The name of the modification says it all. Attribute Per Level makes our hero receive an attribute point after reaching each level, rather than every three levels.

  2. Unpack the downloaded archive to the Modules folder located in the game's main directory.
  3. Activate the mod in the launcher.
  4. Done. The character will receive an attribute point after reaching each new level.

A BANNER IN A THOUSAND WAYS

If the capabilities of the basic banner wizard have disappointed you, use the BannerEditor Enhancer mod. The increased color palette will allow you to create your dream trademark in Calradia.

Unlimited Default Arrows almost infinite arrows

The quiver becomes empty to soon? Use Unlimited Default Arrows for an almost infinite set of arrows the new quiver contains 9999 projectiles. Don't worry their weight was reduced to zero. And for dessert, the mod slightly improves damage inflicted by bows.

  1. Download the Unlimited Default Arrows mod.
  2. Unpack the downloaded archive to the Modules folder located in the game's main directory.
  3. Activate the mod in the launcher.
  4. Then create a new hero. During character creation, choose at least one skill that increases archery ability. A quiver with 9,999 arrows will appear in the kit.
