Jean Reno – Onimusha 3: Demon Siege

Leon. This bad guy from Mission: Impossible. Ronin. It's hard to pinpoint a single role that he's most famous for. He's a perfect choice for comedy, drama, and crime, both in a bit more engaged cinema, and in unpretentious, bombastic action. So while his presence surprised fans of the Onimusha series, he fit perfectly in the third installment, Demon Siege.

Not only that – he became of one of the two playable protagonists right away. He not only provided the voice (in the French version of the game), but also participated in motion capture sessions. Reno enacted the first Western hero in the history of the series – Jacques Blanc. This is a professional soldier, a member of the special forces, who becomes involved in the invasion of Asian demons. The adventure will take him across different times and lands.

There has always been an undeniable charm in this iconic, camp setting of Onimusha. Now add to that the charisma of Jean Reno, who performs stunts, kicks asses and swings blades like a character from Legacy of Kain or Castlevania. But don't look – just play.

John Rhys-Davies – Dune 2000

With the Dune series, an adaptation of Frank Herbert's prose, Westwood actually laid the foundation of the RTS genre, and many of these principles are valid to this day. After the studio had success with the Command & Conquer series, it returned to the desert planet for a brief while, releasing a remake of Dune 2, today known as Dune 2000. In those ancient times, the game stood out with live-action cut-scenes, like in Command & Conquer. It may have not been David-Lynch level of acting, but there was a certain charm to it.

One of the main roles included John Rhys-Davies, known for his role as Gimli in The Lord of the Rings, and Sallah, a friend of Indiana Jones in Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade. In Dune 2000, he plays Nori Moneo, the Atreides Mentat. He appears in clips during briefings, giving the player mission objectives. Rhys-Davies as Mentat is somewhat nonchalant and self-confident, even when Noree has a knife to his throat.

But no wonder – after all, this is a man who spent half his life searching for archaeological artifacts and smashing orcs in the Middle-earth.
