Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is a prequel
I don't know about you, but it amuses me when movies, books or games get a prequel that sets the stage before they're even released. This is exactly what Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is about, as an introduction to the yet unreleased Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. With this production, we will meet the heroes who will appear in that upcoming game as playable characters. However, I still don't understand why this game is called a prequel, rather than just the first part of the series.
Expand the city!
Peace does not last forever, and war seems inevitable. Before that, however, with Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, we will find out what drives the heroes and what their motivations are. We will fight our way through hordes of enemies, explore and expand the city, which is to be an important element of the game in this part of the series. All this in a side-scrolling convention and anime style.
