Stellaris: Overlord – just an add-on?
2016's Stellaris has yet another expansion! This time it's Overlord. We will have to manage the entire star empire rather than build it from scratch. Before this happens, however, we must convince others to submit to our empire, either peacefully or by force. The method is not important, only the outcome matters.

So what does Stellaris: Overlord offer? The expansion focuses primarily on diplomatic relations, giving the player access to a number of tools that allow negotiating with foreign empires. The vassal mechanics have changed, and new constructions and cosmic megastructures have appeared.
