Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 is a nostalgic bundle containing remastered versions of Konami's iconic stealth games. The first pack to launch includes titles such as Metal Gear, Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake, Metal Gear Solid, Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. It's worth getting the whole set, even if just for the legendary status of these games. In the end, those were the days.

If you're hoping that Metal Gear Solid: Master Collection Vol. 1 will completely rebuild the classic games or even offer modern graphics, turn back. The games included in the package have been only slightly enhanced – their resolution has been increased so that the textures don't look so scary on our fancy big screens. Everything else remained virtually untouched, including the lack of keyboard and mouse support in Metal Gear Solid.
