Far Cry 6: Rocket Launcher - how to obtain?

Having a rocket launcher is important, as it makes it much easier to destroy enemy helicopters and tanks encountered in the game world.

Basic info

Launchers are one of the weapon categories in the game and are divided into Grenade Launchers and Rocket Launchers. The second category is more interesting by far, because rocket launchers allow you to effectively eliminate enemy helicopters and tanks, which can pose a serious threat to your character during certain missions, retaking enemy outposts or even while freely exploring the game world. As a result, you should strive to acquire the first launcher as early as possible and thus be prepared for potential dangerous encounters with enemy machines.

Unfortunately, rocket launchers cannot be taken away from the enemy, even if you come across an enemy soldier using this type of weapon. This is simply a unique feature of Far Cry 6 - you cannot obtain the equipment that was used by your enemies.

You must find the launcher in a chest or receive it as a quest reward. "Regular" launchers appear in random crates with loot, but it's very likely that you won't find any in the first few hours of the game. As a result, we recommend trying to obtain the unique launchers that appear in one specific place in the game world in addition to having fixed stats. We describe two examples of unique launchers below.

La Guaracha launcher

This is a rank 2 launcher that you can find in the town of Segunda located in the southern part of the Valle De Oro region.

In the town, you need to locate the stage pictured in the screenshot above. There should be enemies hanging around in this area, but you can put away your weapons and avoid fighting them.

Find the large crate where the La Guaracha is stored.

Pyrotechno launcher

Oddly enough, this weapon isn't in the launcher category of the weapons menu, but in a tab called Resolver Weapons.

Pyrotechno's effect is also unique. This weapon shoots explosive fireworks and it's an efficient weapon not only against soldiers, but also enemy machines.

Pyrotechno can't be found in the game world in the form of loot. Instead, you need to check out the Supremacy mission about buying unique items from Juan of Libertad Island in exchange for depleted uranium (a rare resource).

After you have sufficiently leveled up (reached a high enough hero rank), Juan will start selling the Pyrotechno for 100 units of uranium.
