The story takes place in a desert town in Texas, where the protagonist finds himself in search of a sister. He finds an atmosphere of fear and distrust caused by sinister cultists, and soon comes to fight for survival. The game combines a dramatic struggle with exploratory elements in locations with a partially open structure.

The story of the game was inspired by actual events that occurred in British Columbia, a province of Canada, where several young women disappeared along a remote highway.
