Strategy games. Victory depends here on player’s strategy and tactics. Main task is to control resources (e.g. troops, civil workers) in order to defeat an enemy or achieve some other goal. Command & Conquer: Red Alert - Counterstrike

The creators put a lot of emphasis on compliance with historical realities.

Again, we play the role of the head of the rescue services, which are supposed to organize the place of each accident, and first of all to help the injured. This time the plot refers to global catastrophes that are the premises of the end of the world. We can control more units, graphics have improved, and solo gameplay is complemented by a multiplayer mode.

This time, developers from Fury Software studio decided to enlarge the scale of operations all over the world. Players can command the troops of one of the six main nations and supervise the manoeuvres of more than 60 smaller countries.
SimCity Societies

SimCity Societies is another part of the best-selling strategic-economic series, developed since the late 1980s. This time, however, the production process did not involve Maxis, but the Tilted Mill Entertainment studio, from which games such as Caesar IV came out. Along with the change of the traditional developer, the concept of fun has been slightly modified.

Jagged Alliance: Crossfire

Jagged Alliance: Crossfire is the first stand-alone extension to the strategy game with elements of cRPG - Jagged Alliance: Back in Action. The add-on offers a new campaign in which a player-led mercenary troop of M.E.R.C. must stop the bloody massacres on the population of a small Asian country. Developers from Coreplay studio also took care of a solid portion of new weapons, heroes and opponents.
Total War: Rome II - Caesar in Gaul

The first of the planned expansion packs for a strategy game developed by Creative Assembly. The expansion is set in the years 58-51 BC and focuses on the titular figure's fight against Gallic tribes. Shortening the time period encompassed by the game resulted in a change to the turn system - instead of 12 months, one turn lasts here 2 weeks. Consequently, seasonal division returns, randomly affecting the course of the playthrough.

The aliens who attacked Earth won and their next target is the planet called Esperanza. The player directs the actions of its defenders, standing for an uneven fight against cosmic invaders.
